1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using FreeInvoices at freeinvoices.online, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including guests, free account holders and premium users.

2. Service description

FreeInvoices is a web-based invoice generator that lets you create, customize and download professional PDF invoices. The service is offered in three tiers:

Guest

• No account or email required
• Create and download invoices instantly in your browser
• Invoice data stays on your device - not stored on our servers
• Up to 5 invoices per day
• Full PDF quality with no watermarks

Free account

• Free to create - sign up with your email via magic link
• Save invoices to the cloud and access them from any device
• Invoice history and dashboard
• Up to 3 invoices saved to the cloud per calendar month

Premium (lifetime)

• One-time payment for lifetime access - no subscription
• Unlimited invoices every month
• Cloud save, invoice history and all future updates included

Scheduled recurring invoices

• A paid add-on: EUR 5 per month, billed automatically until you cancel, and available only on accounts that already have Premium
• You create an invoice once, choose a weekly or monthly schedule, and we automatically generate and email it to a recipient you specify - see section 6 below for the rules that apply to this feature
• Each generated invoice is also saved to your invoice history
• You can pause, edit or delete a schedule at any time from your dashboard
• Cancel the subscription at any time; schedules stop sending when the paid period ends - see section 5 below

3. Guest use

Guest mode is designed for maximum privacy and convenience. You do not need to create an account, provide an email or agree to data storage on our servers. Your invoice data is processed locally in your browser and stored in your device's local storage until you download your PDF or clear your browser data. We are not responsible for data loss if you clear your browser storage, use private/incognito mode or switch devices without creating an account.

4. Free accounts

Creating a free account is optional and gives you cloud storage for your invoices. By creating an account, you agree that we may store your email address and invoice data on our servers as described in our Privacy Policy.

Free accounts are subject to a limit of 3 invoices saved to the cloud per calendar month. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account menu.

5. Premium licenses and paid add-ons

Premium is a one-time purchase that grants lifetime access to unlimited monthly invoices. Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider (Polar), who acts as the merchant of record for the transaction. Prices are displayed at checkout and may vary by region or promotion.

Premium licenses are tied to your account email. After purchase, you will receive a license key that can be redeemed in your account menu. Licenses are non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Because premium is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase, refunds are generally not offered once a license has been redeemed. If you experience a technical issue with your purchase, contact us at help@freeinvoices.online and we will do our best to help.

Scheduled Recurring Invoices subscription

Scheduled Recurring Invoices is an optional add-on sold as a recurring subscription of EUR 5 per month. It requires an active Premium license on the same account. The exact price, currency and any applicable tax are shown at checkout before you pay.

• Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically each month and your payment method is charged each period until you cancel.
• Cancel at any time. You can cancel from the billing portal, reachable via "Manage billing" on your recurring invoices page. Cancelling stops future charges.
• Access after cancelling. The feature stays available until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your schedules are paused automatically and stop sending invoices.
• Failed or unpaid renewals. If a renewal payment fails or the subscription otherwise ends, your schedules are paused. Nothing is deleted - your schedules, templates and invoice history remain in your account, and you can resume them after subscribing again.
• Your responsibility. Because paused schedules stop emailing your clients, please keep your payment method current if you rely on automated sending.

Subscription payments are handled by Polar as merchant of record. We do not receive or store your card details. Statutory rights to cancel or obtain a refund that apply in your country are unaffected by this section; contact us at help@freeinvoices.online if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to create fraudulent invoices
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits (daily guest limits, monthly free account limits)
• Scrape, crawl or automate access to the service without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers or networks
• Upload malicious content or attempt to exploit vulnerabilities
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Resell, sublicense or redistribute the service without authorization
• Use scheduled recurring invoices to email anyone who hasn't agreed to receive invoices from you, or to send unsolicited, unrelated or spam content through the invoice email

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms, including disabling recurring invoice schedules that generate spam complaints or repeated delivery failures.

7. Your content and intellectual property

Your invoices are yours. You retain full ownership of all invoice content, client information, branding and data you create using FreeInvoices. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

By using account features, you grant us a limited license to store, process and display your data solely to provide the service to you (e.g., saving invoices to your dashboard, generating PDFs). This license ends when you delete your account or the relevant data.

8. Our intellectual property

The FreeInvoices name, logo, website design, code and features are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.

9. Disclaimers

FreeInvoices is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet your specific business or legal requirements.

FreeInvoices is an invoice creation tool, not accounting, tax or legal advice. You are solely responsible for ensuring your invoices comply with applicable laws, tax regulations and business requirements in your jurisdiction. We are not responsible for the accuracy or legality of invoices you create.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreeInvoices and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or €50, whichever is greater.

11. Service availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We may update usage limits, features or pricing with reasonable notice where practicable. We are not liable for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the service.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence may apply where they cannot be waived.
